VMS is a video messenger that can be downloaded for free as an app. The service is used between mobile users, celebrity video bloggers and companies that want to communicate directly with their customers via mobile phones. VMS will be marketed by a subsidiary of Swedish Ironroad AB (publ), called Ironroad Benelux. The target area has about five million smart phone users, of which 20% are BlackBerry users. Ironroad recently launched VMS for BlackBerry.

Ironroad Benelux will be lead by Dolf Rooijakkers and located in the Netherlands. Dolf Rooijakkers has built a management team together with Edgar Beere and Michael Swarte, entrepreneurs who has wide experience from start ups and sales in IT. Dolf Rooijakkers has a background from the IT-business and from consultancy all over Europe.

 - We are looking forward to present VMS to the Benelux market. We see a high adaption of these kinds of apps and a huge crowd of people who want to follow celebrity blogs. Also the companies who are focusing on social media for their communication with customers and prospects are showing a lot of interest in VMS. Our team is ready for making a big success of the launch and introductions of VMS in the Benelux, says Dolf Rooijakkers.

Magnus Kniving, CEO of Ironroad AB says:

– Our concept with locally financed subsidiaries is proving successful and we continue to strive towards getting VMS established all over Europe. We are pleased that we can now add three more important markets as we are getting closer to reaching our goal.
