Leading developers and independent publishers Polarbit and Pixelbite announced today the immediate release of Reckless Getaway on iTunes AppStore.
Who’d a thought robbing the bank would be the easy part? Now comes the real challenge – to escape with your hard-earned loot with the fuzz hot at your heels!
Reckless Getaway is a most awaited spin-off from smash-hit Reckless Racing.
Rather than a straight-up racing title, Reckless Getaway puts you in the role of a bank robber, fleeing after a successful heist with the police hot on your heels. To escape, you will need to weave in and out of oncoming traffic, dodge, outrun or ram pursuing police cars and just generally crash, smash and thrash your way through 16 varied levels. The more chaos and destruction you leave in your wake, the higher you will score.
Says Pixelbite producer Mattias Olsson: ”Where much of the inspiration for Reckless Racing came from classic movies like ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ and ‘Cannonball Run’, Reckless Getaway is more than anything inspired by the police chases from ‘Blues Brothers’.
