SKANSKA takes a leap into the future – showing their new office building virtually in life-size, before the first stone is set.
SKANSKA’s new office building "Klipporna" in Malmö, Sweden, is set to open in 2014. With a brand new mobile presentation tool – called VuFrame – SKANSKA is offering a close-to-reality experience of the building. Today everyone can download an app to their iPhone or iPad and then view the office building at the construction area – in real life size.
With the app the blueprint of ”Klipporna” comes to life using Augmented Reality* and gaming technology making presentations and marketing events more realistic and inspiring.
"For us this is a fantastic tool to present our office building Klipporna in life-size for our customers and tenants. It also gives the citizens of Malmö a chance to experience how their city is growing and what Skanskas contribution in Hyllie looks like."
says Lotta Lagerstedt, Marketing Manager at SKANSKA Öresund.
Additionally, SKANSKA’s staff members use VuFrame as an alternative to scale models and 3d prints. The app allows you to show and explore virtual 3D-models on a table or directly inside the app.
"VuFrame is probably the first mobile sales andmarketing tool for architecture and we are excited to have SKANSKA using it as an everyday tool for presenting their projects."
explains Dennis Rosinder, VuFrame co-founder.
