Stockholm – Säkerhetsföretaget Check Point Software Technologies har genomgått grundliga tester av NSS Labs med mycket goda resultat. Det är säkerhetsindustrin mest omfattande tredjepartstest och Check Point avslutade testet med hela 100 procents säkerhetseffektivitet för brandväggar, identity awareness och application control. Resultatet innebär att Check Point blir först i branschen med att få omdömet ”Rekommenderat av NSS Labs” i kategorin för nästa generations brandväggar (NGFW).

NSS Labs testade brandväggen Check Point Power-1 11065 och enligt deras rapport tillhandahåller lösningen ett utmärkt skydd och är extremt kostnadseffektiv sett över en treårsperiod.

– Brandväggar har länge varit hörnstenen för nätverksäkerhet men ska i och med Web 2.0 även fylla ytterligare funktioner.  I våra tester använder vi samma metoder som cyberkriminella skulle använda när de försöker ta sig igenom brandväggen. Check Point’s Power-1 receives 100 percent effectiveness in firewall, application control and identity awareness tests
