The universities in Linköping and Örebro, have conducted a mutual procurement of staffing services and are now signing an agreement with Bemannia within IT.
The university of Linköping (LiU) is one of Sweden’s largest seats of learning with ca 27 600 students and 3 850 employees at three campus areas in the locations Linköping and Norrköping. A certain extent of education is also conducted in Stockholm. The education and research is conducted within technique and natural science, medicine and care, educational science, social and behaviour science, arts subjects and interdisciplinary themes. LiU is a program university: over half of their 80 education programs lead to a certain profession, for instance teacher, certified engineer, system professional, doctor and nurse. 80 percent of the students are studying on programs, 20 percent are studying some of the 500 separate courses.
The university in Örebro (ÖU) is one of Sweden’s most expansive universities with ca 17 000 students and more than 1 300 employees. The main campus is situated three kilometres from central Örebro and there are also campus areas in Grythyttan, Karlskoga and Kopparberg. The university conducts education and research within among other subjects arts subjects, law, social science, nature science, technique, care, medicine, education, music and sports. ÖU offers ca 800 separate courses and 60 education programs at basic level and 30 programs at advanced level. The research at ÖU has a wide basis and holds a high international class. The research is conducted partly by topic, partly organized in interdisciplinary groups. ÖU has national and international co-operation and cooperates with commercial and industrial live, county council, municipality and organizations within the region.
Bemannia is now signing an agreement within staffing of IT-personnel – such as System developers/programmers, Network technicians, System technicians/Database administrators, Support technicians and Webb designers.
The agreement time runs to 2013-12-14 with the opportunity for a prolongation 1 + 1 year.
