Atlas Copco Rock Drills AB, a leading developer of rock excavation vehicles and machinery, has decided to buy a company-wide license for Percepio’s new diagnostics system for embedded software, Tracealyzer for On Time RTOS-32. Atlas Copco Rock Drills plans to use this for all embedded computers in all rock excavation products, both during lab testing and during field use of their products.

Tracealyzer will allow Atlas Copco Rock Drills to further improve and optimize their embedded control software, by visualizing the internal behavior from recordings of the operating system and application. The software recording can be active at all times, during lab testing and during field use.  The 20+ views in the latest version give developers an unprecedented insight in the runtime system, allowing for more robust and responsive software, for faster troubleshooting, and for finding new ways of optimizing the software for better performance. Control engineers have great use of the data plotting capabilities.
