Manchester United are undoubtedly the team to beat in the Premier League title race, favourites with Expekt at 2.90 for the title, but an old cliché will be in the minds of the United players, ‘one game at a time’. The first hurdle is an away fixture against West Brom.

The Baggies will be looking for a positive result but Fergie’s men will be expecting a comfortable victory and online bookmakers Expekt feel the same offering United at 1.65.

Expekt published the odds for the opening round this Friday, hours after the schedule was presented.??

The season is long but every team fighting for the top spot will not want to fall behind from the start. Chelsea finished second last season and will be looking to go one better next season with Expekt offering 3.25 for Chelsea to be crowned Champions. They start with a tough fixture at the Britannia stadium. Since their introduction to the Premier League Stoke City have been impressive at home and while Chelsea are favourites with Expekt at 1.75 a Stoke City victory is certainly not out of the question at 4.65.

Manchester United’s ‘noisy neighbours’ will be hoping to have a say in the title race and come in just behind United and Chelsea at 5.00 to win the title, starting off with a relatively simple task at home to Swansea City. Manchester City will be expected to dominate the match and are clear favourites with Expekt at 1.20 with the welsh side facing an almost impossible task priced at 16.00 to grab an away win.

These title challengers will also be interested in how both, Arsenal get on at Newcastle and Liverpool get on at home to Sunderland both are favourites with Expekt to grab three points on the opening day at 1.90 and 1.40 respectively.
