STOCKHOLM, 17 January 2013. In an Extraordinary General Meeting held today, three new highly recognized international names have been elected to the 24MAS Board of Directors. Incumbent board member Knut Revling will now be joined by Per Etholm (Norwegian/Swiss Residence), Gerhard Picot (German), and Rouven Riexinger (German) in envisioning the company’s direction.

Mr. Etholm will soon be proposed as Chairman of the Board but will remain as 24MAS’s interim Chief Executive Officer until the company recruits a permanent CEO.

Mr. Etholm’s has spent 34 solid years in international finance, credit restructuring, business growth, equity and M&A. His corporate business and international board experience includes senior appointments such as Regional Manager for Citibank Nordic and Switzerland and as Vice Chairman for Citibank International Europe. He has also chaired FSN Capital, a leading Nordic private equity firm, and sits on several European advisory boards.

"It feels great to be part of this group with a forward-thinking philosophy. My objective is to pool our efforts toward future development opportunities and I’m confident that I have full support from my fellow Board Members to keep us on track," he says of his new appointment.

Shareholders likewise ratified the board appointment of Prof. h.c Dr. Gerhard Picot, Senior Partner of the law firm Picot with offices in Cologne and Munich. He specializes in commercial law and M&A issues and has held various board possitions such as MobileCom AG, VIVA Media AG and Freenet, among others. He also took over chairmanship posts at O&R Corporate Finance AG, Elephant Seven AG, Colgate-Palmolive GmbH, and On Demand Distribution AG.

Mr. Rouven J. Riexinger is the third new director of 24MAS. Presently, he is responsible for developing the B2B business structure of Burda Direct Service GmbH, a subsidiary of Hubert Burda Media, which provides marketing, sales, and technology services in support of offline business operations.

With a new board in place, 24MAS is re-energized to steadily build on the new business strategies it has already begun to roll out.
