August 19, 2013 – Software AG announced it was
positioned by Gartner, Inc., a leading industry analyst firm, in the Leaders
Quadrant of the newly created Magic Quadrant for Application Services
Governance*. Vendors were evaluated based on both their completeness of vision
and ability to execute in the SOA Governance and API management markets.

Gartner’s evaluation of Software AG is primarily based on its
Application Services Governance offerings from the webMethods product line. It
includes CentraSite, which is the industry’s leading registry and repository
for managing IT assets; webMethods Mediator for service mediation and runtime
policy enforcement; webMethods Insight for service monitoring and management,
and webMethods Enterprise Gateway for secure and managed access to backend
