NetClean rewarded for its good entrepreneurship

NetClean was yesterday awarded the ”Göteborgs Companipris”, a prize given by the City of Gothenburg to companies that work for a good cause. Göteborg & Co explains that NetClean received the prize because ”The Management’s commitment and entrepreneurship together with the competence of the company as a whole is well worth rewarding.”

-          We are very proud to receive the Göteborgs Companipris, says Christian Sjöberg CEO at NetClean Technologies. Our present day worldwide impact is due to the fact that our products are used by several world leading Swedish companies as well as municipalities in the region.

NetClean products are not only used to protect companies and organisations in and outside Sweden, NetClean software is also used by police authorities in 25 countries in their investigations into child sexual abuse material cases. In addition, NetClean protects whole countries against images and films concerning the sexual exploitation of children.

-          We were able to back up our launch in the UK this spring with all the experience and competence we have gained through our Swedish operations. The next step is the introduction of NetClean in Thailand this autumn, says Christian Sjöberg.

To confront these challenges, NetClean will this autumn be increasing its workforce. The company has plans to expand its market and develop new products. The idea conceived by Christian in 2003 for stopping the spread of child sexual abuse content is today the base of a company with the ambition to see its software included in every computer in the world.

-          The interest in our products and our company shows that there are many people who are aware of the problem and who want to contribute to making the world a safer place for our children. Without these dedicated people, NetClean would not exist, Christian Sjöberg concludes.
