The 9th and 10th of May Mediaweek will once again be held in Stockholm, the yearly event in the media industry. This year the idea is to reflect upon the time thats gone by but also to take a look at the future of digital media. On stage you will see names such as Märtha Louise of Norway, Jan Carlzon from SAS and not to say the least, Anders Nygren from Klikki. Anders will have a discussion with Martin from Facebook and Jeanna from Google on the theme ”Integrity, anyone? If spiders and algorithms are in control.” Maybe a slightly diffuse theme but with an actual ulterior motive, are todays digital consumers fooled considering all the information they give away?

We are talking about re-targeting / behavioral targeting on a daily basis as powerful techniques to make advertising more effective. If done correctly it can be fantastic, if not it will of course have the opposite effect.
